Online Workshop on Phosphorus Chemistry (OWPC) 2021
We cordially invite you to participate at the Online Workshop on Phosphorus Chemistry (OWPC), an online conference aimed at PhD students in the field of phosphorus chemistry. The OWPC was created to shorten the wait until the next "regular" iteration of the European Workshop on Phosphorus Chemistry (EWPC), which had to be postponed to 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Like the EWPC, the online workshop offers early-stage researchers
an opportunity to communicate their work to the leading European and
international research groups in phosphorus chemistry. The aspects of
phosphorus chemistry covered by this workshop span organic, inorganic, polymer, materials chemistry and biological chemistry. The programme will include both talks and poster presentations.
Talks: 15 min + 5 min discussion
Posters: two poster sessions

23rd International Conference on Phosphorus Chemistry
We take great pleasure in inviting you to participate in the 23rd International Conference on Phosphorus Chemistry (ICPC-23), which will be held from the 4th to 9th
of July 2021 on-line formula, based on the digital infrastructure of
the Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, Poland. Our decision to
organize this meeting in online formula is forced by the current
uncertainties related to the pandemic situation in the world, which
excludes a real time conference or a hybrid meeting with a certain and
sufficiently large number of participants. We are able to organize
ICPC23 as a virtual meeting because so far 9 (out of 11) plenary and 24
(out of 32) invited lecturers have confirmed their willingness to
deliver lectures online. We sincerely hope that we will know the final
number of plenary and invited lecturers very soon. For technical reasons
the scientific program of the conference will be limited to plenary and
invited lectures delivered online and to a poster collection that will
also be available on the Internet.
ICPC-23 follows a long tradition started with the first
conference held in 1964 in Heidelberg (Germany). Since then, the next
meetings have been organized all over the world. As during previous ICPC
meetings, diverse aspects of phosphorus chemistry will be represented.
Conference topics to be presented virtually as lectures and posters are
as follows:
• Advanced Methods in the Synthesis of Phosphorus Compounds
• Theory, Mechanism, Stereochemistry and Reactive Phosphorus Intermediates
• Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry
• Phosphorus-based Catalysts in Organic Synthesis
• Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology
• Green Chemistry
We believe that your virtual participation and online presentation
of your own achievements will be vital to the success of the Conference.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we invite everyone to a virtual visit to Częstochowa in July 2021.
The International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies 2021 (PacifiChem)
A Creative Vision for the Future is the main theme of Pacifichem 2021. Two subthemes are incorporated into the forward-looking conference: Core Chemistry and Chemistry for Global Challenges. Chemistry is, and always should be, a creative enterprise,
providing us with unique and unprecedented innovations to make human
society happier, healthier and more sustainable. In addition to being a
discovery science, chemistry allows us, through limitless combinations and permutations of the over 100 elements, to create
new substances and materials that nature has not yet seen in the 13.5
billion-year history of our universe and to employ them in the
betterment of our Earth. We do hope that Pacifichem 2021 will create an active forum
and a productive platform where thousands of papers will disclose
state-of-the-art, cutting edge findings in chemistry and related
multidisciplinary areas that inspire active discussion and opportunities
for international collaboration, thereby promoting creativity and a clear creative vision for chemistry. A focus on the core areas of chemistry has been maintained in all previous Pacifichem Congresses. For Pacifichem 2021, these Core Chemistry
areas will include: Analytical; Organic; Inorganic; Physical,
Computational and Theoretical; Macromolecular and Biological Chemistry;
Materials Science; Nanotechnology; Chemical Education and Communication;
and Chemical, Biological and Biomedical Engineering. The core topic areas are vitally important for the future progress of our field and for addressing emerging global challenges. This subtheme emphasizes the important mission of chemistry: a
science that contributes to the human society and helps to create a
better world for the future. The Global Challenges topic areas
for Pacifichem 2021 will provide symposia and forums for new, emerging,
futuristic, and/multidisciplinary areas in: Chemistry for
Sustainability; Chemistry of Energy; Chemistry of Health Care; and
Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Beyond.A Creative Vision for the Future
