 as a graduate student and postdoc to my current role in academic publishin
 g\, including what it really looks like to work for a journal and how to m
 ake that transition. I will also discuss the current state of academic pub
 lishing\, the major issues affecting the field\, and how publishers are re
 sponding to them.
