Assignments to the department - Please mention the following items!
- Devices only were accepted if they are completely cleaned and quit of chemical substances!
- All issues at the domestic installation are processed by the technical department of the University (Tel. 3300)
- For problems with the phone system the janitors are responsible.
- Also problems with low batteries at the safety doors were processed by the janitors.

Devices and Manuals
If special devices are required in the working groups of the institutes for organic, inorganic, and biochemistry, electronic devices are developed and manufactured in cooperation with the researchers according to the respective specifications and special needs.
Repair / Maintenance
The repair of various electronic devices and instruments used during research at the Chemical Institute is one of the most important tasks. It is always important to the department to keep downtime to a minimum.
Testing of portable devices
After the repair, all devices are subjected to a test in accordance with DIN VDE 0701/0702. However, this test must also be repeated regularly for each device used in the institutes. The electronics department can coordinate and carry out an examination date on request.
Lecture hall and seminar room technology
After a detailed update in 2021, a modern ZOOM-capable presentation system will be available to the lecturers in the lecture halls. The conception, construction and monitoring of the system was and is carried out by the electronics department.
Vocational Training
At the electronic workshop several young people were educated to professional "Electronic Technician for Devices and Systems" since years. With a lot of practical exercises and works they learn to use the necessary technical auxiliaries in order to build printed cicuit boards and devices or to measure a wide range of electronical parameters.
