Locksmith

The locksmith is associated to the rooms of the Precision Mechanic Workshop at the Institutes of Chemistry. The following techniques are available.

• Soft and hard soldering
• Autogenous welding
• Electrode welding
• WIG-welding
• MIG-MAG welding

At the affiliated metalworking-department a hydraulic guillotine shears and a hydralic press brake are available. The processing thickness variies by the used material, but both machines have a useable width of 2000mm.

Carpentry

Beneath the metalworking there is a good equipped carpentry, which allows wood- and plastic-working.
