 f fluorine substituents into organic ligands can lead to unique properties
  when coordinated to a metal centre. For example\, the reduced donor abili
 ty of the perfluorinated Cp* ligand [C5(CF3)5]- leads to an unprecedented 
 substitution lability of its metal complexes.\nThe use of experimental tec
 hniques from inorganic fluorine chemistry (working with superacids or very
  powerful oxidizing agents) allows the isolation of highly reactive organo
 metallic compounds with fascinating structures that are otherwise inaccess
 ible.
