Katrin Drysch, a PhD student from the group of Prof. Barbara Kirchner was awarded the second prize of the  "Most Interesting Results Competition" at the event celebrating “Marvin's First Anniversary: 365 Days of Supercomputing” on March 25.

To celebrate one year of operation of Marvin, the large tier 3 HPC cluster of the University of Bonn, an event was held on March 25  at which HPC users from different areas  were able to network with each other.

Here, the contribution  "Development of magnesium batteries" by Katrin Drysch was awarded second prize in the "Most Interesting Results Competition" where the most exciting research outcomes produced on Marvin were presented.
