SYMPO 2026 - Bonn Symposium on Catalysis and Sustainability
The annual Bonn Symposium on Catalysis and Sustainability, SYMPO, will take place on August 7th, 2026 at the University of Bonn in newly constructed Bonn-Poppelsdorf campus.
Researchers from the field of sustainable processes and catalysis (thermal, electro, bio…) will gather for an open exchange on the state-of-the-art and progression of the field. This conference is meant to be a platform to build collaborations and foster out-of-the-box collaborative ideas.
The SYMPO conference further promotes young scientists, especially those in the early stages of their careers, and offers the opportunity to present their own work and approaches and discuss them with a broad audience.
We are looking forward to an exciting and varied programme featuring a combination of oral and poster presentations.
All interested participants are warmly welcomed to Bonn!
