Scientific career
Jasmin completed her bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Bonn in 2022. In her bachelor's thesis in Prof. Robert Glaum's research group, she focused on the synthesis, crystallisation and characterisation of CrWO₄ and its equilibrium relationships with other compounds in the Cr₂O₃–WOₓ–P₂O₅ system.
In 2024, she completed her master's degree in chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Nikolay Kornienko. In her master's thesis, she focused on the development of an electrocatalytic system for formamide synthesis from CO₂ and nitrate on heterogenised molecular nickel-terpyridine complexes.
Since February 2025, she has been continuing her research as part of her doctoral studies under Prof. Nikolay Kornienko. Her focus is on electrocatalysis for the activation and conversion of small molecules into more useful chemicals.
