!!! Due to capacity utilization, only students enrolled in human medicine or dentistry at the University of Bonn can participate !!!

Students with repeater status

Registration for the chemical internship for human medicine and dentistry students
In exceptional cases and after individual examination by the internship supervisor, there is the possibility of registration for third repeaters as well as students of human medicine and dentistry from other German universities. Please contact Dr. J. Möllmann (R. 5.091, Tel.: 73-2705).

A photo and a valid student ID must be brought to the first day of the course.

The students acknowledge receipt of the letter “Information for childbearing employees in the chemical laboratories on possible employment restrictions and dangers for expectant mothers”.

Practical course
The chemistry practical course for human medicine and dentistry students consists of a practical part and associated seminars. Attendance and participation will be confirmed by the tutor on the attendance card.

Written exam
The final exam takes place at the end of the course. The dates can be found under the link “Dates”.

In the written exam, the material of the entire internship (all eight experiments of the internship and the corresponding theoretical basics as well as the eight seminars) is tested. The subject catalog is binding for the scope of the material to be tested.

The student ID card with participant card and identity card must be presented for the exam. Otherwise, participation in the exam is not possible.

Final exam
The final exam is written on the subject matter of inorganic and organic chemistry (see exams).

Participation in the final exam requires the presentation of the fully signed participation card. If this is not done, participation in the follow-up exam is also excluded!

The exam is considered passed if 19 of the 36 questions have been answered correctly.

Missing a course day due to illness
Missing a course day due to illness must be reported immediately to the day assistant (Tel.: 73-5799). A doctor's certificate must be submitted immediately and the attempt will be discussed with the day assistant.


If a student misses more than one day of the course due to illness (proof by means of a medical certificate), regular attendance cannot be certified and the certificate cannot be issued.
