Dr Luke Wylie is a postdoctoral researcher focusing on utilizing the unique properties of ionic liquid solvents to improve common catalytic reactions. He also focuses on understanding the specific properties of unique ionic liquids to further apply them as solvents in electrochemistry as electrolytes. He completed his PhD at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia in 2021 and then underwent a postdoc in Lyon, France until 2022 from which point he has been in the Kirchner group as a postdoc at the University of Bonn.
