Excited to share our recent publication on “Reversible C-H Bond Activation of Unactivated Arenes by a Nickel-Silylene Complex”! Gomm et al. show and explain how a nickel-silylene complex can readily activate aryl C-H bonds of benzene and other unactivated arenes. Congrats to all the authors, especially first-author Leon and Dr. Hui Zhu from the Grimme group.
