The publication on "Unraveling the Mechanism of a Co(−I)–Ga Photoreductant in the Catalytic Hydrodefluorination of Electron-Rich Fluoroarenes" is online in JACS. This work describes the hydrodefluorination activity of a Co-Ga photoredox catalyst and our mechanistic investigation. Of significance, the Co-Ga system is the first example of a 3d metal photoredox catalyst for C–F bond activation.
